    around $100 scan tool suggestions

I have a tech II for my truck but I am always tinkering with other projects (and my wife's jeep is giving me problems). I was considering an autel maxiscan obd-II/eobd scanner for $100 on amazon. From what I can see, the difference between this and the $60-$90 ones is the O2 sensor readings...

    Question: G80 bit the dust....

Nice drifts redboytie (especially the end). I broke that little thing in my stock locker myself. I now have the Yukon Gear and it works fine.

    Killed a Prius!

I had the same thing happen at McDonalds when I had a Toyota w/ a 6" lift. I keep a drop hitch on just for that reason. My friends say I should take it off and use my MagTec (or however you spell it) as a "ricer slicer."

Good race tire for lifted truck.

I bought my truck w/ 35" mud BFG's. Unfortunately they were not worn evenly so I took them to the track and did a huge burnout (and bought tires the next day). Let us know how your new tires work, I would think that the 20's may slow you down a bit.

    Re-indexing Transfer-case for lifted trucks?

I didn't see the "re" in building and though you were doing something like what I need to do. I may try to initiate something during my off time here. We have a reg. cab 2500 with a 6liter that I should be able to use as a reference (instead of pictures). How much strength roughly lost when...

    Re-indexing Transfer-case for lifted trucks?

Trent, I would greatly appreciate some pictures. How cheap do you want to make an extra one (I only have two weeks when I come home next)? Josh, I believe they make an indexing ring as I have seen them before.

    Re-indexing Transfer-case for lifted trucks?

the brackets shouldn't be a problem to construct. I would have to see an image of the pickup, thanks for both of the quick replies.

    Re-indexing Transfer-case for lifted trucks?

I have had "issues" finding a good setup for my truck. 01lb7 6"CST (drop front diff) lift. I had a double cardon driveshaft but broke it during my first 4wd launch (before the twins). This is a 1310 style joint. After replacing the driveshaft with the stock unit, I get a vibration over...

    finally landed a job.

I heard about that. They also have a program for "emergency" as well as "pre-pay" that I think you would qualify. As far as being 4months back-logged, I am still waiting for my involuntary 7month stop-loss payment.

    finally landed a job.

Sorry to hear about the truck. Any problems with the VA helping...or more? If you don't mind taking more classes you may get paid for going to school. I have the kicker and I get about 200-500extra a month if I get a good deal on books and take 1-2"cram" classes (1=1/2 time, 2=Full time)...
