    Yeah I noticed some black soot on the valve cover, I replaced the valve, it has an-oring at the bottom. No more fuel leak there, but I can still smell diesel very strong at times.

    Proof of winter front :) that was yesterday morning, high idle trying to warm up. I don't even find high idle does much, it kicks off even before i'm blowing any heat, pretty lame.

    I flushed it in the summer, has brand new dex in it, has a new water pump too. I mean i get heat, but its basically like the heat you would get when a gas car is JUST warming up lol, so you think t-stats could be bad?

    I think they are hall effect sensors, I know a reluctor wheel triggers the cam sensor.

    Well I looked under this cap again, and I saw bubbles of diesel, I guess this where it's leaking from, weird that it's not even leaking out of the valve yet it smells so strong.

    So I read ther codes today I got a P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 Circuit Malfunctrion, P0341 Cam Shaft position sensor A Bank 1 CKT Range/Performance, P0650 MIL Control Circuit Malfunction.... Is this an easy fix? not sure what MIL control circuit malfunctions means?
