    i beleive its the stepper motors go out in the trucks. i have a whole cluster with 122xxx miles on it for sale if interested.

    everything works now, just had to recognize those things, took about 2 mins after running for all to come on.

    How to wire the tapshifer?

    are the tow/haul wires the black with white, and that blue wire under the column? or are they the i beleive green and black up on top of the shifter, the old 5 speed lever was plugged in in 2 places. did you comepletely figure this out yet chris?

    swapped lbz into my lb7. tooks its cluster and bcm. basically the dic on the cluster, the lights on the radio, and lights on the hvac are not working. everything works like it should, just no lights so i cant tell what im doing. buttong on wheel work as well but cant see what going on...

    Finally started the LB7 to LBZ swap

    i got the swap done and the wiring issue with all the codes i had figured out. now its down to just glow plug 6. so im thinking its a glow plug issue. gotta hook up the tapshifter and then its done done. this motor is so quiet compared to that lb7!!

    yes i tried the vat relearn. my batterys are dead now so i am not sure. what wires were all needed to move? i moved F4 to A8 in the C2 plug. C100 i moved bodyside females C to N, M to R, G to J, added a wire in B for tapshift, added a wire in G and F up to the OBD port. am i missing something?
