    Help, can't load tune with efilive

    I tried to load a tune today and i got an error message that says " connection to pcm lost, check cables and try again" If i plug just the OBD to the V2 it lights up and if i plug just the computer to V2 it lights up. any ideas? I tried to load a few different tunes that have been in the truck...

    EFI Live problem

    I am having some trouble with getting everything loaded properly for V7.5.4, so I figured i would just continue usin V7 as they can exsist together on the pc. problem is now it thinks I have a personal cable and not a commercial. anyone have any ideas why yhis would happen?

    My truck is almost done, and i am thinking about changing to 3.42 gears to give the tranny a bit more time to shift. who has all done this and what were your impressions? also will a locker in the back make much difference over the limited slip? Kelly

    I have 2 dsp 5 switches. 1 with bigger pins and 1 with smaller pins. which one is for an lb7? also where do the pins go on an lb7? thanks Kelly

    Barry just called from Medicine Hat. Mike Drever went 10.58@129 on motor only in his dodge cr quad cab. the bottles were out of the truck. they are now going to spray it and try to run a 9.

    Tranny fluid level question

    How fussy is the allison on fluid level. truck was slipping or what felt like slipping under hard acceleration. It threw no codes. I added 1/2 a qt. of fluid and the problem went away. So does that little bit of fluid make that much of a difference?

    New engine break in

    Got the truck back today. fully built motor with Socal internals as well as NADP completely rebuilt the tranny on their dime. Curious what people recommend for breakin on the motor and tranny. thanks Kelly

    What rpm to launch

    What rpm do you guys launch at? i have been launching around 18-20psi boost (about 2300), but am thinking it may be a bit high. truck runs low to mid 12's now. will be low 11's this spring with the built motor.
