Why is power per psi/cube not the same from gas to diesel?

There are 20 branch chain hydroxarbons in diesel and 8 in gasoline. Diesel has more energy as far as I have read. But to stay 14.7 to 1 with the turbo on the gasser you probably had large injectors. So you were putting more fuel in. Try calculating this again by the actual weight of fuel being...

A code of conduct and some transparency will always go along way, if this site is truly a democracy. It is not really a democracy and nor should it be since members do not pay tax to have it ran. As far as I know Josh Mike and Rob moderate as a personal favor and do not get paid. It takes a...

I don't think I would put a crank with a blemish that cuts your nail in anything. But yes it may be ok or it may cause a v shaped turbulance in oil film. Documentation on written receipts is always the best. Had the op saw " crank journel scored customer declined replacement, no warranty on...

Mike, You have done well for yourself. And in turn put yourself in a very good position. You get the pick of the litter because you have earned it I agree. There is s middle ground where everyday guys can't afford all new stuff and they will always find a shop somewhere. The problem here is...

Well I tried to meet in the middle..............

If that were practical in all situations then these threads would never be started. Sometimes a customer does not have/will not spend the money to get it done with all new parts. It would be great if everyone could just say ok then take it somewhere else. And yes it does seem like when...

Well I tried to meet in the middle..............

We are making power on 6.7 Fords and the gear is part of the crank as in to get the gear you have to buy the crank with it pressed on. So we have not been keying them. No trouble so far. The only issue I could really see on this is the oil pump. It would be a good deal of work for any person...
