Yep I know what your saying. I went with one not because there's proof they work, but mostly because of all the stories saying how much smoother the engine runs. And with the bill I had, what's an extra 700-800 bucks:rofl:
Everybody I race with has gone away from Hoosier and to M&H slicks. Granted I'm the only diesel truck out of the bunch. But several 6 sec turbo LSx trucks. And a couple 5 sec door cars.
Bumping this. I only took 4.25 off my lml tube. Dipstick protrudes the same amount as it did on the lmm tube. It is odd that there are several different numbers floating around now.
What's everybody running and how do you like them?
I planning a going with these pro comp 16x10 wheels with 30x14 M&H cheater slick

SoCal has really nice springs that do not require upgraded pushrods. That's where a good spring makes the difference. That's straight from the horses mouth.....
However there chromoly pushrods are very reasonable in price as well.
Fwiw, I like the 68r, it spools way faster than the HTT 366 I have in lb7. I also have a s485 to go with the 68r. I've seen multiple dyno sheets of that setup doing 1100hp.
