    I was thinking the same thing Levi, However the electric is rated at 55gpm max. its probably only flowing 30 gpm with pressure and all the restrictions. How does increasing the voltage help with out burning up the motor as it is only inteaded to do so much? Or am i way off base:confused:

    Does anyone know if the mechanical will flow thru it when its not turning? I was thinking of running both electric and a remote mount mech and run it off the drive shaft.

    From GM factory specs it says the cooling system on a LB7 is 71 GPM @ 3172 RPM I run water and 2 bottles of royal purple watter wetter for alluminum heads. and run a 21 PSI rad cap. My block is half filled and currently run a S/W pump.

    Rick I understand what you are saying, However having the overflow tank above the motor should suffice...No? I got bored and did some searching on the internetz, Seems like some one has already tested electric water pumps for use with his motor,Kinda interesting:)...

    I've seen those pumps amd many others...Sadly I'm fubared without running some big changes! I've searched for big electric and the aussies do make a 220 gpm but its tough to find for sale???? You do have to realize blade pitch VS volume. What I need is a big ass electric and S/w is not...

    Dan It doesn't surprise me one bit. After seeing spooners truck I was surprised! There is still 300lbs that he could lose. Its not much but everything helps imo. Doubt he wants my help, but I'm willing.
