He said he bought new bolts for it. I don't have a tick sound. It is a knock sound or a clank sound if that makes since. I notice sometimes you can feel a sputter.. Most of the time you can't. The loudest clanking is at around a quarter throttle. -

excuse my ignorance but when you say injector plugs are you talking about the wire fitting? the truck has 211,751 miles. I know my dad has a way to check compression on gas mothers through the spark plug hole. but diesel I don't think so. -

The dealer wanted more money than I had at the time or have now. The injectors are AC delco that I bought from the dealer. The dealer ship wanted 3200 to do the 4 and 6900 to do all 8.. how ever the math on that worked out. I don't think the guy is a bad mechanic just not a great diesel... -

How far are you comfortable shooting? Most people shouldn't shoot over 400 yards. A 308 will take your elk just fine in all them Calibers. I feel like people get to hung up on the biggest baddest caliber. FYI I work for a large Gun Manufacture.. And it is peoples mentality of have to have...
