I'm looking for a track tire (preferably DOT drag radial) that will fit on the stock wheels. I know I can make the 28" tires work, but I am not sure if they will fit on stock wheel for width.
I'm being cheap and do not want to buy ANOTHER set of wheels for the truck, I already have 2, one winter and one summer-both stock, forged AL.
Anyway, these will be track tires that will get run on the road occasionally. It's about 25 miles from the track to the house....and the occasional trip to town to show the young kids how it is done.
I guess I am being cheap AND lazy and don't want to change tires at the track.
FWIW, buying wheels is $$$$ for me because "free" shipping does not work for Alaska.
