well im getting happier. got myself a regulator and I took it for a drive. Same type of driving I did before. hit 44.5 this time and I reset the record for EGT's and it only hit 1450. Thats already 100 degree drop from last time. going to keep slowly cranking it until im around 48.

My lmm sees 48-50 lbs. Hottest tune rarely gets over 1250. 2100 pulling it if my cts was correct.

Atmo around 30 lbs. Tough to look at when holding it to the floor.

I've had better luck putting boots on where they fit comfortably then tighten clamps. Haven't had a problem in a long time. Pressurizing seems dangerous and tough to do by yourself. (For me anyway)

well, after a night out drinking my Girl friend was the sober driver. I told her to get into it a little on the way home. She got into it hard enough for me to see 43 pounds of boost and I only saw 1160! she said it was only about 3/4 throttle, but before I would see 1350+ at 3/4 throttle on a max effort tune.

ok one question, how much is too much boost? I finally got a manual boost gauge installed. on only my 4 tune which I think was a 160 tune with the stock turbo, I hit about 54 pounds today. Kinda freaked me out.

yeah... I'm just having a hard time getting it dialed in. I'm REALLY struggling with having to do sooo many wide open passes to get it dialed in. I didnt get the s475/stock for that. I wanted low EGT's and good towing. right now, im hitting 46-48 PSI with just my street tune. I also only hit 1200 degrees by 85. Loving that part. I may just stick with the street tune. Good EGT's, high boost and plenty of power.

It's part of the game. I hated it too but it's the only way to do it right on these. If your happy with it, leave it. 1300 on the big tune doesn't sound far off either

bringing this thread back from the dead. So, I finally started using the max effort tune. I am running somewhere in the 50 range for boost, and I noticed I can still almost tag the 1500 mark with my egt gauge. according to the record on my insight, my 75 is in the 16 range. Record being 16.6 after I reset it.

Twins seem overwhelming. Just reading I decided I'd go with a big single due to budget and ease of install. Plus just the look of all that piping, can look really good or really bad. Ur kit looks great I hope u get it where ur happy with it.
