I think if I'd had put a set of 60s in and had my turbo rebuilt and maybe a smaller housing that it would've been alot easier at 5300. That or go with a stg2r

I'm personally still wishing I had gone with a 400 frame charger instead of rebuilding my 3rd S371. IMHO it is far too easy to crap out a S300 cartridge. But I've never run a S400 turbo, so I can't say for sure if it will be stronger. But dang, it can't be weaker...

It really depends on what your end goals are with the truck. If you plan to eventually go built motor and keep it under 1000 HP, I would go S400 if you want to keep it as a single or S300 if you want to compound over it. If you want to go over 1000, I would do S400.

I know the motor is not going to live forever.. when it craps I'm going to build it. At that point I believe I'd be happy with a 800-900hp street truck that can run 11s. I know a 467.7 is capable of that as a single with more fuel. I would like to keep the stock motor alive as long as possible and I feel like a 400 series would do that better?

I'm just afraid of going 369 and wishing I went 400.. if I go 400 series is the fmw 467.7 the way to go? I gave Scott a call but he's out of office so I left a message. I'll see what he has to say

Danville recommended 467.7. It wasn't mark I talked with. I called and left a message for mark but another guy called back

If you're so afraid of wanting a 400 frame afterwards then get the 400. That's what I'm gonna do eventually. Too many 300 frame nightmare stories. Plus more room for growth and a stronger turbo.
