Recently I was working on my truck to fix a small fuel leak to the CP3 from the lift pump.
When i got it all said and done fired the truck up but had the MAF sensor unplugged and the engine threw a bunch of DTCs one of which disabled the FPRV in the CP3 causing the rail pressure to climb to about 30k at idle. I was able to get it reset but not until the injectors had been hurt. I sent them to Exergy for repair and 4 had to be replaced due to excessive body wear and the seals were pushed around. It had a rough idle when all these issues were happening which i thought was cause of the horrible balance rates.
Ive since installed the new injectors and it still gives me a roughish idle that it didnt have before. No crazy balance rates while in drive all are under ±2.
When you come just off idle it completely smooths out. This is a built motor with only 27k miles on it.
Any clues as to what i could be looking for to find what might be causing this?
