I just got a set of the new DC Torque. I need to change for the offset to load it in the trailer without changing wheels on the front. Jeff

285 vs 305..........roughly 1" difference in width and height, would much power and mileage be picked up, same brand of tire (nitto terra's)..........going from a 305 to the smaller 285

when i went from a 285 on stockers to these 305/55's on rockstars, I noticed a huge difference.... mileage significantly decreased as well as my acceleration at lower rpms. I do feel however, I have better handling on the road bc the 285's were tall and skinny. Of course in your situation, it'd be reverse.

I had a friend of mine photoshop some wheels. When I start working on my 2500HD (new paint, lift, wheels and tires) I was toying with the idea of painting the wheels to match the truck, one of the sets would be the rockstars

Also I had him modify a set of monsters

im kinda partial to painted wheels myself
