Mike a read a post that you wrote in a forum a while back about vss wires. U stated that if these wires are not twisted every two inches then it can cause the 0055 code to pop. In your experience does this happen consistently with untwisted wires ? Or is it a hit and miss situation? And to add to that will this code cause the Allison to shift when it should not or cause a limp mode situation???

Untwisted VSS wires can cause abnormal signals to the TCM. There is more of a probability that the trans will act up than not especialy at higher speeds.

I am having a very difficult time getting rid of this. 0055 code. I know my wires are not twisted due to a repair I made. I am having large issues in low range when the truck spools up.
