Gweetings. New here. Just now found out i need to say hello. Hi. Ahem. So I bought a 05 duramax last june and it runs pretty good. Untill I get on it, wants to die on me but it limps along. Mileage is 14.5 around town puttin like an old man. Dont get over 70 on hwy and 16.5 the best I can get. I bought a hypertech programmer and set it on stage II and for crying outloud the mileage didnt change.... any thoughts?

Have you serviced all the filters yet, Fuel & Air? Also pitch the hypertech and get some efilive tuning from one of the bigger name tuners. They can set you up with mileage & some more power...

Agreed, I had an LLY, mileage sucked pretty bad. But I had a local here tune it, he did a great job. I'm not EFI live smart, but I know he changed a few tables. Fuel filter would be a good place to start.
