Pre Loading Caltracs

We are setting my buddy's truck up for the drags tomorrow. How much are you guys that have cal-tracs preloading the bars themselves? How many turns. Seems like even 1/2 a turn lifts the rear end up quite a bit, and would probably be more than enough.

Haha yes it is. Maybe I'll take one side and over-crank it a little bit

How I do mine, run them both down til they touch the springs, I usually start at 2 flats on the bars. Just remember that when you preload one, only turn the other side as many flats. If you tightened one side, then the other til it ls tight, you hace more on one side them the other
