Hi so its really slippery up here in the northeast and I got into it a little too hard and went fishtailed around a corner in the slush and then got home and decided to scare myself by measuring the distance from the left and right side of my rear tires off from the frame. Does this measurement dictate anything or is it just how even the tire is? And how likely is it to bend an axle from just sliding on snow at like 40 mph and swinging around?

TX of course
I don't know why it wouldn't be even, but unless you hit a crub or something you didn't bend it fish tailing.

I agree with dozerboy, don't see them getting bent from just fish tailing. Did you hit anything as you were sliding around?

Only thing I could think is that if he spun then caught traction while he’s sliding and the weight shift did something drastic but it’s doubtful
