Painted tow mirrors

i would like my tow mirrors painted but my body shop says that they are unable to because of the type of plastic they are made from. he goes on to tell me that no matter what he does the paint will not stick to it for long and eventualy flake off

i see some with painted mirrors here and ask did you buy aftermarket mirrors or just paint the ones you have

People paint the ones they have.... sand down and use a flex agent and adhesion promoter.... itll work out fine. Im having mine down now
