What could a guy do to a tune to make it give you this code, put it in limp mode and the shut the truck down?

I have gotten this code probably 5 times and it is beginning to piss me off! Am I that bad at tuning?

The code is an internal processor error for pcm/tcm.

Alot of times related to the weather for that code. How cold is it up there? any moisture on or possibly in your ECM?

around 0*C when it has happened lately, but it has done it in the summer as well. It only happens after flashing in a select few tunes I have so I do not think it is moisture related.

It has NEVER done it with a Neens tune installed so I figure maybe I am just a tune butcher.:dontknow:

Interesting....... B1115 has values from 30 to 8 starting at 600rpm, B1116 has 0's in that same row. I will change B1115 to 0's and see what happens.

Thanks.

Why do you want to request a torque value at 0% throttle position?

This is info that Ross needs to see. How did you figure this out?

First time I tuned an LBZ I had accidentally ended up with numbers above 0 in the 0% TPS row of B1115. Truck kept throwing P0606 codes and going into a wierd limp mode. Through trial and error we found it to be caused by the B1115 table having numbers above 0 in the top row.

I thought I might hijack this thread instead of starting a new one.

Here are the details.
Last week I was hauling my dad’s bass boat (less than 3k) to Lake Powell for a fishing trip. Truck had a 50hp Tow tune that has been flawless for me.
Tow-haul on – cruise on – 55 mph headed down a decent grade – 5-6% - truck gets to about 60 mph and is just about to downshift into 4th – car in front of me decides to slam on the brakes – I hit my brakes at probably the same instant it tried to downshift – rpm went to idle – no hold back from the trans (like it was in neutral) – CEL – P0606 code – I turned the cruise off, tap shifted down to 4th and made it down the hill. Didn’t limp, cleared the code and it ran fine the rest of the trip.
I checked B1115 and B1116 like othrgrl suggested and they are all 0s.
Is this something I should worry about or did I just give the system to much to think about all at once?
