My 01 seems to have a habit of throwing the P0093 code. It almost always does it when sledpulling but sometimes when I'm just driving it hard. Now I know it's low rail pressure but why?? I have a fresh fuel filter with almost every oil change,I have a PPE lift pump and I haven't noticed any injector symptoms. Truck runs good but as soon as the light comes on I feel it falls off a bit powerwise.
I'm running a big tune that pulls a ton of fuel. Do I need a Mod'd CP3 or is my injector pump or injectors bad? Have a new CP3 on the way and hope that will fix it but a guy I know said maybe an injector was bad . Has 98K on motor and never had injector issues. Truck is out of warranty.
