need a IT guys help on a winsows table in race car

The Nira uses a Cambus convertor in to a windows computer to do everything. I have a tablet that we leave in the car a Dell Venue. The convertor sucks a lot of power out of the tablet. The tablet only has one micro USB and no way to charge and take data.

the problem is it only has one Micro usb port , and that has to be plugged in to the ECM. Something like a powered hub ,

The description says it has pass-through capabilities. Which is what your looking for, right?

The problem is if the tablet is not wired right internally, it won't charge and use the USB no matter what. I've never had good luck getting USB and charging to work at the same time.

If you want to try it, there are charge+data splitter cables on Amazon for pretty cheap.
