The so called "reasoning" behind the inflated diesel fuel price is because of the breakdown in a barrel of crude,so as explained to me.
Makes no sense but what-ever. Why they feel raising the price will cause less demand is dumb. Most times people buy fuel why? Because they need it ,duh.
Truckers and daily commuters need diesel like anyone needs gas. So as explained the breakdown of crude is so much is allocated for gasoline production,so much for home heating fuel,so much for other misc products and then of-course diesel.
Being that we are in the heating season ,winter, with a bigger demand on #2 so in their opinion there is less available for diesel production there fore they raise the price to lesson the use of diesel. Ya right it's a crock of shit!
