My brake fluid was down by at least one half, from the "max" mark. I found no leaks at wheels, nor around the hose connections to the hydro boost or power steering pump. Where did it go? I had the hydro boost replaced about 8 months ago. The level seemed fine immediately afterward. Any ideas. (2006 2500) thanks

When your pads wear down, the fluid level drops due to more fluid resting behind the pistons in the caliper.
Thanks, I thought about that, but 1/2 the brake reservor is a lot of fluid. I've not looked at the pads... may be worth a look anyway. Thanks
Check the hard lines under the drivers door area and the rear one up above the fuel tank for leaking, too.
Well, pads are worn, not enough to worry about changing yet, but worn more than when purchased. Still n o visible leaks, even with the metal lines. Will fill and watch... thanks much for the help - kip
