LMM Intake on LLY?

So I'm wanting to install a new intake on my LLY instead of the stock LLY box. I came across an LMM intake for cheap and bought it. What I realized is the LBZ and LMM intake is the same except for the MAF sensor port. The LBZ MAF and the LLY MAF fit the same, but the LMM MAF fits differently and is more of a square/rectangle port. Can I simply cut out the LMM port to where it fits my LLY MAF sensor? I'll attach two pics showing the two different MAF ports. uploadfromtaptalk1425500545506.jpguploadfromtaptalk1425500559894.jpg

just opinion here, but as long as you seal it up it will still flow air and the sensor will read it the same as long as it is in the same path, not mounted higher so it seeing less air flow. The round one looks like it sits higher, but if you sat a little lower you should still see same air flow.

my 2 cents go wrong directions sometimes though

Yeah thats a good point I need to address. Hopefully that wont cause any issues. I got the intake for 60 bucks, so i'd like to not buy an LMM MAF sensor or an aftermarket LBZ intake
