Is there anyway to delete the factory fuel filter housing on an LML without doing tuning to remove the code for the WIF sensor?

Changed my filter today and I have one more on the shelf and after that I'm deleting the FN lame pos.

Can I get away with leaving the sensor in place but plugged in or jumping it like I did with my coolant level on my LBZ?

I deleted mine just used a U shaped hose and didn't do anything else but my truck is tuned,
But I didn't have anything changed in the tune and I didn't get any light on the dash.

Seems odd. Most sensors like this are normally closed and when they fail or you unplug them they throw a code.

Not the water in fuel. You can leave it unplugged on any generation dmax with no issue.. well idk about l5p

I guess maybe that's why they never go off when you get water in fuel in a dmax. Most probably don't work lol.

Exactly lol. Only ones I've ever seen with the wif light on was a wiring issue

TX of course
Mine works I tested it out. Now whether or not the fuel filter actually stops any water or not I couldn't tell you.
