If I have a complete LMM motor and trans with ecm and tcm...what problems will I have with swapping this into a truck that had an LBZ in it...Will the guages and everything work if we just swap them out...thanks mike

I dont have the Lbz wiring or controllers.Just the ones off the lmm
I don't think it will work right as the communication is different for the dash.
Eric at DURABURB just did one, and I bleive he essentially had to convert the LMM to an LBZ to make it work. I know the LMM uses CAN BUS throughout the truck whereas the LBZ on,y uses it for the ECM, TCM, and BCM. You will need to find an LBZ ECM, and posibly a differrent TCM(some LMM's use and A 50 wheras teh LBZ uses an A40) and have it flashed to an LBZ as the tap shift works differrently in an LBZ VS AN LMM as well(LBZ has teh tap shift hardwired whereas teh LMM is done via the data bus).
Yep you need a LBZ ECU, TCM Old style Allison bell-housing (need to add the input speed sensor) prints from all data LMM & LBZ then at least 4 days and a lot of patience, and this is what you get
