hi guys im in the middle of finishing my 1500 rcsb lb7 swap and the electrical is kicking my butt. Im getting a p0612 code and cant figure it out. I heard there is a ign relay mod to fix this. If anyone knows about it help would be appreciated

That code is because the ignition 1 relay for a gasser is triggered by the ignition switch, in a diesel it is triggered by the ECM to power the FICM. You either have to use a diesel fuse panel, or you can install a separate relay outside the current fuse panel for the ignition 1 relay, and set it up to be triggered by the ECM.

Yes, the underhood fuse panel. I know Eric installed a remote mount relay on them so he could retain the burb fuse panel and keep the code away.
Sorry to bring up old thread but looking for more info on rewiring the ign1 relay. I have a gas fuse box in my son's lb7. Code p0612
