Lb7 down pipe swap

Does anyone have any tips or anything to take the stick downpipe off? I'm having a hell of a time with it

I always take my passenger side up pipe off when removing the down pipe. When I do that the downpipe falls out.

Lots of penetrant oil and a long handled swivel head ratchet. You need the leverage of the long handle, but with access so tight, the swivel head gives you some options.

I got it out and the new one installed but I had to of gotten the federal emissions downpipe because I had to grind out the two slotted holes for it to fit properly
