Horn trouble

Well its that time of the year when I need to get my truck inspected and the horn doesn't work. It will still honk when you lock the doors but wont go off when you push on the wheel. Any suggestions on what to test in order to find out whats wrong. The fuse for the horn is still good.

Maybe a broken wire in the steering column, I think I have a pinched horn wire in my column, it rarely works when I hit it. If I hit it when turning right it will honk sometimes, but anything straight or turning left you can forget it

Mine went out. I took it to the dealer (still under warranty) and they found that the contacts were bad in the steering wheel it's self. KEEP IN MIND ABOUT THE AIR BAG IF YOU EXPLORER YOUR SELF. Airbags aint cheep.
