Looking to treat my aging eye to an EDC red dot and this checks all of the boxes - though a little chunky. I have a FF3 and an old c-more, and red dots are great. None of my existing ones have a shake awake though, so I’m looking for something different. Any opinions from the collective?? Tnx

I have the bigger brother HS510 and it's awesome. clean and crisp dot and glass. shake awake, multiple brightness levels, etc. just in a bigger package more suitable for rifles. I'd assume the 507 would be similar

I just got off the phone with the machine shop - my cw45 is getting milled for it :) I’m stoked. Lol

I have 2x Leupold Delta Point Pro's and absolutely love them. They're relatively small but have one of the biggest viewing windows on the market.

I just picked up a Grand Power Stribog SP9A1 Gen2 and I'm trying to decide between a red dot, holographic or reflex sight?

Which one works best with both eyes open? Probably not the red dot but if you visually see the holographic image, even if it's not centered in the glass, will it hit where I see it? Does that make sense?

all three will work with both eyes open. just training. larger sight picture makes it easier. normally that means reflex and holographic. the red dot in a tube has the narrowest field of view so can take more practice to make it second nature.

all three will place the dot where the round will hit. reflex and red dot will have more parallax at close distance then the holographic sites will but I've not found this to be a problem. still hitting the target dead on at 20 yards or less

for someone new to this type of sight, I'd start woth a reflex as it is easiest to learn and cheaper then a holographic sight.

really they are all practically the same. I like reflex and red dots due to the much longer battery life which is important to me.

I was thinking about the bigger 510 for my 500 Mag one day :) *IF* it can handle the recoil!

I got it back - very nice work! I went to the range today and sighted her in. After some time to get used to her (not much!), I was shooting really well. At the end of the day I moved the target out to 40yds and made some hits :) Pistol is a Kahr CW45 shooting 230gn Extreme plated bullets with 5gns of Bullseye. I’m super happy.
