When it's running it's like nothing is wrong when under load like a lean out in a gas motor. Lift pump or fprv

Your FPR could possibly be failing. Any other noticeable symptoms like fuel economy being poor or power loss. I understand the platform is new to you but has it been like this since day 1? Blowing smoke?

If it didn't have 290000 plus on odometer I would like to build a 600 hp monster. But I got it to work and pull a camper on the weekend

Pulled 10000 lbs this week 10 times had trouble with the limp mode 1039 code twice on one trip empty to the rock yard once then on the way back fully loaded 10000 plus 180000 lbs. Truck pulled it like a champ then with no warning 1039 and limp mode

Its a p1093 low rail pressure during fuel enrichment .... p1039 is a O2 sensor code and doesn't exist on a Duramax.

P1093 can be a bad cp3, injectors return rate too high, fuel line collapsed, filter head allowing air into system, bad fprv, too large of a tune, or a bad or cheap fuel filter.

I'm sure that there are more possibilities, these were just the ones I can think of quickly.

Do you have any sort of gauges or anything like that?
Might be time to invest in some. Gauges and testing tools will save you cash in the long run.
