Hard Start / No Start LB7

Hi All,
I have an 03 Lb7 with 113k on it. This past summer I had issues with it not wanting to start so I replaced the batteries, fuel filter and rebuilt the fuel filter head. That seemed to have fixed the issue but now its happening again now that its cold. Is it normal to have to pump the primer 5-6 times before it gets hard? I was thinking it may be a glow plug issue but now I'm thinking I may be getting air into the system some place. Any thoughts?

How cold and did you plug your truck in? Both my batteries are new and my truck wouldn't start yesterday. Its -12 here. I had to take the driver side battery out and inside to let warm up. Then it started without any problem. Also if its still too cold fuel will still freeze.
