WHAT!! i thought everybody had tasted a little white lightning! It is definately an aquired tast, but can be pretty good depending on who made it!
Always heard it was like drinking gas:rofl: Still would like to try! The apple pie shine sounds good!
The best shine has no taste, also it can be burnt with no residue, use to get some like that out of Oklahoma
You're right, the good stuff doesnt have a discernible taste but it's still like drinking fire. It will sneak up on you too.
slower the bubbles rise the better. sipping whiskey not for drinking no taste but will burn the whole way down!!!

It's a little more slim pickin's here now since the big raid...two helicopters and lots of guys on the ground! It was pretty cool for a while, you would walk into the local bar and they would all be talking about who got busted that day! Lol, it can still be had though, they didn't get all the stills! :thumb:

Oh yeah, that's good stuff! A friend of mine from eastern TN makes that... Goes down smooth and can knock you on your @$$!
oh yeah heres a fun filled tip i learned...when someone tells you its very strong kinda like rubbing alcohol try not to down the glass......damn strawberry shine had me going crazy:happy2:
