2006 GMC Sierra LBZ Crew Cab, 8ft bed, no aftermarket anything, no boost gauge
Anyone know a good mechanic in Colorado Springs? I'm having issues with black smoke and losing power while towing... got the following codes this past weekend towing my fifth wheel - this is the third time the same issue has occurred during towing.
P0405 - Exhaust gas recirculation sensor a circuit low
P0299 - Turbo/Supercharger underboost
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance
P0402 - Exhaust gas recirculation excessive detected
Ck engine light comes on during towing, then goes off after about 5 starts once the trailer is unhooked. I've been told this might be an issue with the intercooler boots, but I don't know exactly where to look to inspect...
I have changed the fuel filter and the air filter in the past 300 miles.
