LML fuel return line regulator issues

so on the lml the injectors need to have I think like 150 psi in the return lines leaving injector to run right, has any one dealt with the regulator going bad we have been chasing a power issue after we get over 2200-2400 rpms, the fuel system shows the fuel rail pressure and desired fuel rail pressure are perfect, any help or advice on this issue would be awesome thanks

I have heard of them going bad..

they are known to go bad and usually 0087 code will show up periodically
