Ok so today was the first time I race my truck. I figured with the twins I wanted to see how fat it was. I ran a 13.1 with epr twins with the gate all the way loose and cutting a 2.08 in the 60. My question is at what rpm do I want to leave the line at. i left at about 2200 and spun.

You want to leave as hard as you can but still maintain traction. Tire pressure and tire choice along with track conditions are going to be what decides how hard you want to launch. Not hard enough and your leaving potential on the table, too hard and you might spin and or break stuff. You just need to find the sweet spot and then go from there with weight reduction, traction improving components and so on to help improve your 60's.

Just start playing with Tire psi, I rarely even look at my gauges when launching anymore, I drive the truck so much that I can pretty much guess how much its boosting the sound of the turbo and motor.

what tuning are you running and did you log the run? I'm running 12.83@106 on my tow tune with a 1.9 60 ft on 20's. I just recently found out my cp3 wasn't holding rail pressure as to why I wasn't going faster. Even with your 2.xx 60 ft you should be a lill faster with your trap speed.

I ran a 12.64 at 106mph so you have a mid to high 12 sec truck. Just got to get it off the line and shift properly

Nice times. I took my truck a few weeks ago and ran a 13.6 at 115 mph on my lowest tune with a 2.2 60ft. The second pass I nearly wrote the truck off when my coolant line blew doing over 100 mph. Kind of scared me. Hoping to go back on sunday if I get this electric water pump installed.

I need to set my gates on my chargers but it's so hard to look at the gauges. I'm setting up a video camera so I can look at it after each run. Only been to a track twice in my life so it was pretty exciting I can see why people like it so much.

You might be down a .10 or so but forced induction powered vehicles create their own atmosphere unlike an N/A engine. Spoolup time is definitely effected though

We are down around 3psi of atmospheric pressure here.. its usually around 11.43 here. Like you said, it effects n/a worse because they only have 11.x psi of pressure to work with total.. but it effects boosted vehicles as well. Especially ones running lower boost where that 3psi difference represents a larger percentage.
