Guy not far from me bought a single cab SWB conversion f250 w/ the 6.0. It's a nice truck. My friend told me he has an aftermarket turbo and a few other things on it. Don't know what, but it sure whistles like crazy. He spools up everytime he passes my house.
I've been waiting on him to stop by for a race or something but he never stops

Yes, the truck build ran in a couple of issues of Diesel Tech Magazine while I was working there as Assistant Editor.

Boxes of new stuff seem to arrive every other day. Got some new LBZ style tow mirrors that plug right into the 02' harnesses to install. Picked up some stock takeoff 17" LMM wheels today. New speakers in the front doors last week. Truck is coming right along.
LBZ style tow mirrors installed. That was an easy ten minute swap, found them with a direct plug and play harness for the 2002 model.

OBS black chevy's with the new NBS wheels look so good. love the look of the truck man. 01-02's are awesome looking.
Thanks guys, just need to remove the add-a-leaf that is in the rear suspension and do something about the diamond plate bed caps.
Does anyone know of some decent looking aftermarket hoods for the 01-02 truck? The paint on this hood is in rough shake, clear coat and paint is cracked all over, looks like crows feet all over it. It's going to need to be stripped and repainted, contemplating replacing it all together...

Got a big pile of parts sitting at the shop ready for install, just gotta find time. Airdog II, Cal-Tracs, tie-rod sleeves, idle/pitman support, and the new turbo inlet pipe from Alligator. Just gotta decide what to do for the trans...
