Casper shake out pass with the A engine back in was 141.x which was good to set the record. The lanes closed prior to 2nd pass. We will run first thing in the morning.

The Hudson ran 130.x in the same class with the ford engine. The Dodge made a Rookie pass of 128.x in Unlimted class. From what was said it's owned by the Morman Missles brother

I have some in cab video but no sound. Jason will post it or I will when I get home. Also Mitch of Mitch's Customs took some video on my camera but that will have to wait until we get home.

The videos hang up at 11:19:38 for some reason, but you can fast forward it a little and skip the frozen segment.

Well, the El Mirage Gremlin is still hitting us. At 153mph, the engine shuts down to about 1/2 power and starts to slow back down. To aggravate the situation, it up shifts shortly after the power falls off. So the earlier I hit 153, the slower my timing slip is. I guess for now, I need to hold back then hit it at near the end. It doesn't happen at Bonneville, or on a dyno. What causes it? Not even a clue.

To add some more challenge to it, there is duststorms, stiff headwind, cold temp, and a lot of delays from racers spinning. The dirt is pretty tore up, especially near the traps.

Best MPH so far is 145, which we hope is enough for a A/DT record.

The last pass was 157.x don't have the log book with me. I bailed after the last pass to come home to take a shower. Given more passes I'm sure he would have figured it out. With a total of 3 passes in 2 days it was kinda rough :(

Pat you need to bolt in a 06-07 shifter mount assembly into the column so the 06+ shifter is indexed correctly and not hitting your knee when its in "M" or "1". :D :p:

Great videos! Hopefully the defuel gremlin can be tracked down...I know how frustrating they can be.......

Well, it's official:

We scored highest points for the Nov event out of all entries and set the A/DT record at 157.175mph, and were the fastest diesel (there was also a Powerstroke A/DT and a Cummins UDT there) of the event, and remain the fastest Diesel Truck to ever run at El Mirage for another year.

Thanks out to:

Kat, Robert, Johnny, and Jason for crewing.
Tom and Allison for being there.

Well, we would like to take the Kad to the dragstrip, and Casper as well. I promised Kat a 9 second ride in Casper, so that's next.

Big thanks out to the entire Duramax Diesels team for help and support!
