Just wondering what people are seeing for EGTs when doing a 1/4 mile pass, with any of the various S475 basic twin kits. I am going tonight and would like some EGT numbers to compare to from people with similar setups.

Oh trust me I know! Went Sunday and barely looked, and certainly I am not going to let out of it. I am just concerned that I may have a small boost leak, and I figured EGT would be a good thing to monitor to determine that. I hold about 51 psi boost, but my EGTs have been in the 1500s. I have pressurized the system to 20psi or so and no leaks, any more than that and the PVC cap blows off, so can't really test to a higher PSI. My times were 12.7 @ 107mph with a 1.9 60'. 60' could have been better, but is that about what MPH you guys are seeing?

51 psi. Just seems VERY laggy and smokey at low end, stock turbo takes longer to spool than it did before. Once that second turbo lights though, it definitely throws you back in your seat.

Ok, I am not sure on that, I do not have a boost gauge monitoring prior to the stock turbo.

Not sure who is doing your tuning but if the vanes arent set right, you could be making the stock turbo work harder than it needs too, giving you higher EGTs.

Who is tuning it?

I'm doing 112-113 mph on street tires.

I have a steady 47-48 psi till 3rd gear than shifting to 4th is about 52-53 and shifting to 5th is 56-57.

Those are spike during shifting.

my boost #s are roughly identical to yours but my EGT's bury the 1600degree guage by around 1100-1200ft.

i love how the people selling twins are like my EGT's never go over 1200 and im running 11.80's. those two facts may be true but likely not at the same time :D
