In 4th gear how high should I run the RPMs up?

i dont have the most dyno experience but i make a dyno tune just before i go that locks out 5th gear and then run it up to about 4000 but i have always started loosing hp after 3500 - 3600 .

id start around 2-2200rpm and run till like 3600

I made 20 more hp by running to 4000 instead of 3600.

It depends on the dyno and operator.

But, I always like to start the bigger charger trucks at around 2000-2200 rpm in 5th to help the charger spool better. Then take it up until you don't feel comfortable anymore. 4000 rpm isn't going to hurt anything and if the hp is still climbing take it up father the next time.

I made more boost by running in 5th and ran it up to 4k.
