I logged an 01 last night after flashing in a tow tune, it had a duramaximizer installed when he bought it but no tune. I turned the switch off and during the test drive Actual RP was 16k+ and Desired was 6500 or so. WOT desired was 22k and actual read 53k+ on the scan tool. I was thinking WTF!? but just assumed that it was because of the Duramaximizer. would I be dumb for assuming this? it was dark and I didnt feel like fussing with the wiring to disconnect it, so I told him when he got home and had time to disconnect it completely.
