DTC 0101 (Mass Air Flow) After WC Fab 4" Intake Mod - Help

I upgraded my 2006 LBZ from factory intake to the 4" WC Fab high flow intake with a 4" conical dry air filter. At idle, I would get the DTC CEL P0101 (Mass Air Flow Sensor) most of the time but not all of the time. if I clear it and drive, the CEL does not come on so it appears CEL only happens at idle. I put the EFI Live Auto Cal V3 and read the MAF and it is steady at 60 g/s. From what I read, 40 g/s is typical so this high air volume is causing the CEL. I check for leaks and found none and the pipe is pretty simple. 2 connecting pipes with a silicone boot in the middle mounted directly to the turbo mouthpiece. Also, I noticed that the truck does not go into limp mode but other trucks have, any idea why it does this while most other P0101 puts the truck in limp mode. Does anyone know how to get around this? The MAF tables will need rescaled for the new intake diameter. Search on here, should be lots of reading material on it.
