I have a one piece drive shaft on my LMM I just installed a 10-12" kit and my drive shaft is pretty out I was wondering if I can get a longer slip yoke or spacer for the drive shaft ? I've been doing research and can't find any clear answers. If so can you provide part numbers

One inch will move that drive shaft more than you think. Before I took two front springs out of my 86' the front drive shaft was ready to fall out like yours, I took two springs out and left a 1/4" wedge in and the drive shaft was a inch too long. Took the little 1/4" wedges out I gained another 1" on my drive shaft. A little angle makes a big difference, lift blocks have a 1/2" to an inch depending on height

since you have a different leaf pack than stock, i would look at getting the driveshaft lengthened. a wedge/shim might help but you dont want too much or pinion angle goes out of wack and you will get driveline vibrations.

any local drive line shop should be able to extend and rebalance for what Reger said.

I'm with James. I was getting ready to say never mind on the shims since I didn't see the lift springs til after I opened my mouth. Just google a local driveshaft or machine shop, my friend had an aluminum driveshaft built for 350 using his old ends. You can get a steel one done for cheaper, but aluminum is said to be better for anyone that drives super fast, I see no difference other than weight myself.

Btw, my friend had an lbz with a 7" bds lift and hit a low spot on a bridge on the interstate and lost his driveshaft because it was too short. He luckily never took out the fuel tank or bed.
