dmax trade for tahoe??

so this guy is offering me his mint condition original owner 2004 tahoe LT with 110k miles for my 2004.5 lly dmax.... my truck has 197k miles but runs perfect. i asked for money from his end but what do you guys think?
good idea or not?

Your truck is worth a bit more. I would be asking for 3 or 4 thousand extra on his part

your truck is worth way more than the Tahoe!! Your truck is probably worth 1.5x-2x what the tahoe is worth (if your dmax is clean cosmetically, fully loaded with heated leather, etc)

That being said, tahoes are great vehicles and the 5.3 gasser will literally go forever with zero maintenance other than oil changes. Expect to put a new tranny in it soon though.

I just traded my 2004 LT Tahoe loaded with 100k miles on it last year for a 2004.5 lly with 121k on it and the difference was $8000! Don't trade!!! Your truck is worth way more! My Tahoe was in perfect condition,loaded, Z71 and only got 13k out of it at a dealership on my trade. I'd keep the truck!

Its hard for me to go by kbb for a price. Kinda hard to believe. I would love to.find a dmax around here for 16k. U cant even get a 01-02 for that price.
