I'm thinking about converting my 4" rancho lift to ntbd using the cognito conversion kit. It seems straightforward- cut the rancho bumpstop ears off the drop cradle, raise the torison bar crossmember back up and then follow the install instructions for the ntbd brackets.

My question is do any of you guys know how much the 4-6" cognito cradle drops the lower a-arms? How far they are pushed outward?

That seems to be the biggest concern trying to get the tbar bolts to sit well in the keys?any other ideas or points would also be welcome.thanks! :thumb:

i attempted this on my fabtech lift before i went coilover. didnt work.

its going to vary from lift to lift. all you can do is try it.

The 4-6" kit is about a 4" lower drop on the lca arms. I have been around it many times since i removed all my torsion bar stuff from the cognito ntbd lift to coil over swap.

Should work if they use the stock lca.
