cat C-15 tuning?

I just looked at PDI but damn the prices are crazy, but then again i am only comparing to what we do with our trucks and EFILIVE.

Nothing to do with a c15, but i put a chip in my grandpa's rv with the c9 acert. Made a huge difference over stock in pulling steep hills while he is traveling, with about 1.5 - 2 mpg better

Any idea what brand? 1.5 to 2 mpg would be huge if feasible in a hauling truck

Price a bullydog module for the c-15....lol. pdi is essentially efi live for the big boys, my boss used to have a pdi tuned MXS (acert) that got 6 mpg pulling 105,000

He said he was running the stage 1 tune only, it paid for itself in 4 months in fuel savings, but keep in mind this was an acert in a 379 exhd, the 6NZ may be different. What are the specs on the truck and what does it haul?

what is the difference between acert and non? I thought the normal C-15 had less emissions and was the better of the two. Hauls produce, 80,000 usually.. Truck is a 2003 379 peterbilt..

The acert is the twin turbo engine, and yes, the 6NZ is the better one of the two. With only 80k gross you should see a substantial gain in power and economy.

Any input on which is best feel free to chime in.. My dad is an advocate of PP but has not ran any of their tuning..
