Looking to make 1500-1800 hp in my 7.1 lbz, currently running 488sxe over Danville’s 72/72.5 in valley, 100% overs or fuel, twin cp3s. Looking for proven recommendations! Don’t wanna go triples yet

2 10mm & 500% overs with one precision pt8891 will make over 1500 for us so I'd say Brett's setup is closer to 2000 than 1500!!

2 10s are not gonna be enough for 500s. They won't keep up with my 400s.

Holding rail pressure is not all about the injector size, it's about the pulse width needed. And I am telling you that two 10's with 500's with a pt8891 will make over 1500 hp.

Mines down 1k psi in tune 3. Buddy is running 2 10s with 200s in his lly. He's loosing 2k psi in tune 5. Neither of us are close to 1500hp

OP, I would recommend 2 12's if you are planning on 1500-1800. I'm not saying our setup was ideal for 1500. Our fuel package was not ideal for it because we didn't intend to be at that power level when built.
Turbo wise, if it's a single, I'd do a promod 88 minimum. It should be capable of 1600. A promod 91 should be near 1800.

Brett, is the C10 going to see a track this fall or will it be next year before you have it back out again?

Lots of things will have to go just right for me to have it out before the season is over.

I'm hoping to pick the truck up next week from the body shop. The chassis is all done. I just have to do all the small stuff. Wire the whole thing, brake lines, go through the rear diff and all the other little stuff. Which seem to take a long time.

Matt from Danville Performance has my motor apart to make sure it's 100% when I do get out and start making passes.

I may take a family trip this winter to Florida and do some testing with it. That way I'll be somewhat ready for next year.
