Ok, loaded new boost tables and definately making more boost. However when logging with efi, its only reading 28 psi. Mechanical gauge is reading solid 40-41. Ive heard the ecm boost sensor can only read 38 psi, would this cause a false reading?

You need to use the PID for actual boost. The one that's just boost reads boost + baro & that's why you see the higher reading.

That was the actual boost PID. When the converter locks its running about 44-45 psi. Think this is a bit much for this turbo. Would like to check drive pressure though.

Anyone know if the new map sensors off the LML will work on the older trucks yet, I hear they have the capability to read up to 100psi or something like that.

Try to bring your boost back in the 38-40 psi range, open the vanes a bit in your max and target vane tables.................and get a drive pressure gauge hooked up
