Stared using the ac in my 05silverado and keep getting a musky smell.lift up the floor mat on drivers side and noticed a little damp on carpet .curious haven't spilled any water .where could that be coming from.? Is there any kind of tube that could be leaking.

Do you have cab lights or the onstar antenna? They're known to leak.

Also the top drivers side corner of the windshield.

Get someone to spray a hose and sit inside and watch

It could be the evaporator drain. There's a little elbow on the passenger side of the firewall behind your fender liner that could be plugged. I had water buildup in my evaporator housing (standard condensation) that turned out being due to a plugged drain elbow (don't ask me how the .17 HMR shell got in there :dontknow. Pulled it out and over a cup of stagnant water came out.

I'm not making any promises here, but it's worth a check.

That's quite a place for overpriced 22 brass. Great round to shoot but it ain't cheap.
