The Duramax is one of the most sophisticated engines ever designed.
It's 50% heavy duty diesel, and 50% race technology from the factory.

We have only scratched the surface of what it is capable of.

Where did this new enlightenment come from? You've been pretty silent on here as of late and now you tell us this. I hope you have something cool in store. I'd like to see Casper back out on the track. Hopefully you find a renewed interest in diesel motorsports. I'm starting to feel like I have.

Doesn't it have to have a recommended rebuild period of 300,000 miles before you can technically call it a heavy duty engine?

Heavy duty in the aspect of what you see when you tear it apart. Some stuff is very high tech, and some stuff is very low tech.

If you don't hotrod a Dmax, they last a very long time, many are over 500k.
